Artist statement
As a conceptual photographer, I delve into the intricacies of the human experience through the power of images, employing the metaphor of life as a theater where existence takes center stage.
I love leading people to that threshold where reality unveils its concealed truths. Architectural and theatrical spaces, humanity and its attitude, serve as a backdrop for my artistic vision.
My formative years were shaped by an admiration for Hitchcock’s masterful shots and the eccentric characters of Fellini’s creative realm. I was seduced by Sugimoto’s hermeticism and aesthetic precision, as well as Sanders’ archetypal portrayal of society.
Today, my artistic experimentations engage with Picasso’s Cubism and Pop
Art.
Targeting art collectors and those unafraid to peer into the beyond, my works are intended for individuals seeking more than mere aesthetic enhancement of a space.
Stato d’artista
Sono un fotografo concettuale che indaga la complessità dell’essere umano attraverso la potenza dell’immagine e la metafora del teatro/vita dove l’esistenza si esplica.
Amo condurre le persone sul confine in cui l’obiettività del reale rivela le sue verità nascoste, o in luoghi immaginifici dove si cela una realtà.
Spazi scenici, posa, uomo, spazi architettonici alimentano la mia visione.
Sono cresciuto all’ombra delle magistrali inquadrature e sequenze di Hitchcock e dei caratteri estremi del fantasioso mondo di Fellini, sedotto dall’ermetismo e dal rigore estetico di Sugimoto e dal ritratto testimone di ruoli e società di Sanders.
Sono approdato ad una sperimentazione che si confronta con un’arte che richiama il cubismo di Picasso e la Pop Art.
Le mie immagini sono dirette ai collezionisti, a chi non teme addentrarsi in visioni “altre e oltre” nell’esigenza di arricchire spazi e ambienti.
